Break down communication barriers with hands-on practice of essential signs, fingerspelling, and common conversational phrases. Participants will also gain insight into Deaf culture and etiquette through real stories and group activities that build empathy and respect. By session’s end, you will feel confident using basic ASL to welcome colleagues, enrich interactions, and create a more accessible environment for Deaf and hard-of-hearing community members.
